Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Why do brands choose Cheetah DTF Yellow Ink?
Well, it's made just for direct-to-film printing. You'll get brighter colors, it flows better, and won't fade when you wash it. This stuff really sticks to the film and powder, so your prints will stay looking good a lot longer than if you used regular ink.
Q2: Can I mix Cheetah DTF Yellow Ink with other inks?
It's best not to. Other inks might not be the same thickness or have the same stuff inside. If you mix them, your colors might get weird and your printer could get jammed up. If you want the best color, stick with all Cheetah DTF inks.
Q3: Will this yellow ink work with my DTF printer?
Cheetah DTF Yellow Ink works well with most printers using Epson printheads, including Cheetah’s Platonink printers. But, just to be safe, check your printer's details before you start printing. Contact us for more information, and we'll make sure everything goes smoothly.
Q4: How do I store my Cheetah DTF Yellow Ink?
Always keep it in a dry and cool place with no heat. This will keep the ink from becoming thick and unusable. Also, make sure that the ink bottle is sealed tightly when not in use.
Q5: Is Cheetah DTF Yellow Ink safe to use on all types of fabrics?
Yes! It's crafted with safe, eco-friendly ingredients that are harmless. Prints are strong, stretchy, and soft. They'll also stay bright and resist cracking, even after tons of washes.

Our DTF transfers adhere perfectly to cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, and more. No need for pre-treatment — just press and go.
2. Application Instructions
Press at 300–320°F (150–160°C) for 9–10 seconds using highest pressure.
Peel immediately while hot — our transfers are designed for hot peel application.
For optimal durability, apply a second press with a cover sheet (like parchment paper or Teflon) for 5 seconds.

DTF prints are fade-resistant, stretchable, and machine-washable. They hold up well after 50+ washes when proper care instructions are followed (cold wash, inside-out, low heat drying).
4. Artwork & File Requirements
For custom transfers, we recommend 300 DPI PNG files with transparent background. Ensure colors are set in RGB. Avoid low-resolution images to maintain print quality.
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
1. What is DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing?
DTF is a printing method where designs are printed on a special film and then transferred onto fabric using heat and pressure. It works on cotton, polyester, blends, and more — without the need for weeding or pretreatment.
2. Are your transfers ready to press?
Yes! All our DTF transfers arrive pre-printed and ready to press. Just place the transfer on your garment, use a heat press, peel, and you're done.
3. What fabrics can I use your DTF transfers on?
Our transfers work on a wide variety of fabrics including 100% cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, canvas, and more.
4. How should I care for garments with DTF prints?
Wash inside-out in cold water and tumble dry on low or hang dry. Avoid bleach and do not iron directly on the print for long-lasting results.
5. Do you offer custom designs or accept my own artwork?
Yes! You can upload your own design or artwork when ordering. Make sure the file meets our quality guidelines for the best print result.
