Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the Cheetah DTF Hot-Melt Glue Powder?
It's glue made to stick DTF prints to clothes. It melts to give a strong, bendy, smooth hold. Great for clothing companies, crafters, and print shops that want transfers that last and look good.
Q2: What fabrics does hot-melt glue work on?
Cheetah hot-melt glue powder sticks to cotton, polyester, spandex, fleece, and fabric blends. It melts evenly for a good grip and feels soft. Good for clothes or promo stuff, giving strong results that won't crack, even after years of wear and tear.
Q3: How do I apply the glue powder right?
Print your design, then spread this powder evenly over the wet film. Shake off the extra, then heat press or bake it. This melts the glue perfectly, making prints that are smooth, soft, and pro-grade.
Q4: Can I use this powder with any DTF printer and inks?
Yes. It’s made for all Cheetah printers, inks, and films but also works with most DTF setups. It melts smooth and sticks well, so it's good for getting the same results no matter what you use.
Q5: How should I store the Cheetah hot-glue powder?
Always store the powder in a cool, dry place away from any harsh heat sources or sunlight. Too much humidity or heat can create clumps and impact the overall quality of the powder, which may not yield good results.

Product details
1. Material Compatibility
Our DTF transfers adhere perfectly to cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, and more. No need for pre-treatment — just press and go.
2. Application Instructions
Press at 300–320°F (150–160°C) for 9–10 seconds using highest pressure.
Peel immediately while hot — our transfers are designed for hot peel application.
For optimal durability, apply a second press with a cover sheet (like parchment paper or Teflon) for 5 seconds.
3. Durability & Washability
DTF prints are fade-resistant, stretchable, and machine-washable. They hold up well after 50+ washes when proper care instructions are followed (cold wash, inside-out, low heat drying).
4. Artwork & File Requirements
For custom transfers, we recommend 300 DPI PNG files with transparent background. Ensure colors are set in RGB. Avoid low-resolution images to maintain print quality.
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
1. What is DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing?
DTF is a printing method where designs are printed on a special film and then transferred onto fabric using heat and pressure. It works on cotton, polyester, blends, and more — without the need for weeding or pretreatment.
2. Are your transfers ready to press?
Yes! All our DTF transfers arrive pre-printed and ready to press. Just place the transfer on your garment, use a heat press, peel, and you're done.
3. What fabrics can I use your DTF transfers on?
Our transfers work on a wide variety of fabrics including 100% cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, canvas, and more.
4. How should I care for garments with DTF prints?
Wash inside-out in cold water and tumble dry on low or hang dry. Avoid bleach and do not iron directly on the print for long-lasting results.
5. Do you offer custom designs or accept my own artwork?
Yes! You can upload your own design or artwork when ordering. Make sure the file meets our quality guidelines for the best print result.
